An important part of acquiring professional skills is awareness of the activities of other places
and disciplines. In addition to the daily activities involving statistical research and teaching at the
University, I try to get acquainted with current research at other places and disciplines by means of
various area activities, including attending seminars, conferences, workshops. This creates an opportunity
for me to gain exposure to important applications which provide excellent motivation for new research directions.
Besides reasearch and teaching I have been involved in several other academic activiities including but not limited to the following:
Project: Multivariate Imputation Methods for Agricultural Resource Management Survey - Phase III (June 2009 - August 2010).
Client: Talecris Inc.
Project: Statistical models for time-lapsed stability data to predict the shelf-life potency
of a new product (January-July 2008).
