Welcome to the homepage for the WV&VA Wild Turkey Model. This page will allow you to select the model version that you would like to run--either Deterministic or Stochastic. Both model versions will base calculations on parameter values that you enter for per-capita recruitment and cause specific survival rates. The main distinction between the two models is that parameter values are constant in the Deterministic version (thus you provide one number--your best "guesstimate"--for each parameter) whereas the Stochastic version incorporates variability (thus you provide a range which you believe is likely to contain the actual value of each parameter).
For more detailed information about the model, please refer to our online manual.
