Dr. Zhang received her Ph.D. in Statistics from
Department of Statistics at
University of Wisconsin at Madison in 2002 under the direction of
Grace Wahba. Her research interests include nonparametric smoothing,
model selection, machine learning, and bioinformatics. Recently she also works on problems involved longitudinal
and survival data. Dr. Zhang obtained her B.S. degree in Mathematics from
Beijing University in 1996.
