Professor in the
Department of Statistics,
North Carolina State University,
Raleigh, NC, 27695-8203.
Ph.D. in Econometrics from the London School of Economics, 1959.
Research Interests:
My basic interest is in the areas of large sample theory and weak convergence.
Recently, I have become interested in autoregressive spatial processes and
I am working on the unit root or near unit root problems in the doubly geometric
processes. I also have active research interest in nonlinear regression
theory and statistical inference problems related to bundle strength of
fibres. I have been associated with the Operations Research program in this
University since its beginning and, in that connection, I participate in
programs related to linear and nonlinear optimization theory.
